Shop Gift Guide

As a parent, watching my kids come downstairs on Christmas morning, and open up their gifts makes my heart flip and flop. When I was picking everything, I made sure to choose items my kids (ages 5 & 8) would absolutely love to receive AND gift to their friends as well.

Have you started your holiday shopping? Make sure to let me know down below the most thoughtful gift you are gifting this year, as well as the gift that you would most like to receive.

Board games are a hit in our house and this is definitely one of our family favorites. Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots was a huge hit in our house growing up. Did you have this game when you were younger? What was your favorite board game?

This year we are trying really hard to not have as many ‘toy’ gifts, but more activity-based. Outdoor activities are great for their imagination and getting some energy out! How amazing would this giant connect four game be at your next outdoor get-together? Or bring it indoors during the cooler months.

Science projects and arts and crafts are a great non-toy option. Especially when they feel so proud to have completed a project by themselves, that really instills confidence! Spirograph is a hit in our house, and I love that they have a junior version for smaller hands.

I’ve got more gift guides coming your way, so make sure you are subscribed before leaving so you don’t miss the notifications when they go live. My goal is to help you finish your holiday shopping early this year!
