Welcome back, lovelies!! I’m so excited to continue on to the second half of our Disney Meals experience with you all. Make sure to check out my Part 1 post for even more food inspiration. We left off on Saturday, so lets continue on. Keep reading if you are heading to Disneyland and want some good options for delicious meals and treats. Without further ado, enjoy our Disney Meals Part 2 experience!

The Pizza Press

Saturday evening we were all pretty exhausted, so we decided to eat at the same pizza place again. I’m telling you, kiddos and pizza always work well together. Plus, they liked being able to pick out their own beverage so that’s always a fun time for them. We also repeated what we had had the day before, so nothing new to report here.

Pizza Restaurant

IHop

Sunday, we slept in and didn’t end up eating till about 11:30am. Brunch is my favorite meal of the day so I was there for it. The nice part about our hotel, was that we were walking distance from the park AND a ton of other restaurants. We ended up walking to IHOP and enjoying a delicious meal. After we ate, there was an amazing balloon animal artist so we got a couple new additions to our family that day!

  • Kiddos: They had lunch and decided on chicken nuggets and applesauce.
  • Mom: I had the pancake combo with Tres Leches pancakes, eggs, sausage and hash browns (lots of coffee too, of course).
  • Dad: BLT with fries.
Tortilla Jo's Dinner

Tortilla Jo’s

One of the best restaurants at Downtown Disney is Tortilla Jo’s. Great Mexican food, margaritas and the decor is amazing. The rest of our family got there that evening, so what better place to go then DTD! We even got ANOTHER balloon creation and the kiddos went crazy for them.

  • Kiddos: Cheese Quesadillas
  • Mom: 3 item combo with taco, tamale and cheese enchilada. Washed it all down with a large pitcher of margaritas that we split with all the ladies.

Disneyland Park

Finally time to head into Disneyland and we were all so excited! The rest of our family raced off to hit up Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but we hung back. Got to meet a couple characters, hit up the smaller rides with Jackson and enjoyed some tasty treats like Churro Toffee, Peanut Butter Cookies and Dole Whip.

When we were in the Tiki Room, I accessed the Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering option in the Disneyland App so it was ready when we got out. The lines were a bit long, maybe even longer then the rides, so I wanted to make sure we didn’t wait long. If you are there, the churro toffee and dole whip are MUST HAVES. For lunch, we hit up Galactic Grill in Tomorrow Land and once again used the app to order while we sat under a nice, cool umbrella.

  • Kiddos: Mac and cheese with applesauce
  • Mom: Crispy chicken sandwich with fries. It was VERY delicious and i highly recommend it.
  • Dad + Mamo: Cheeseburgers with fries.
Flo's Diner

Flo’s Diner

The night before and breakfast the following day were both Pizza Press and I didn’t share because we’ve only been there 500 times already. But I did pick up an easy breakfast that morning of danishes and coffee. Then we hit the parks again, this time was California Adventure. When lunch rolled around, we were in Cars Land again and enjoyed some more food at Flo’s. It was super crowded inside, so we went around back and there was a wide range of covered tables. MAJOR TIP for you is to always go around back, because odds are there will be tables and chairs towards the other side of the restaurant. People tend to think quick and grab the first table they see, so they don’t think to keep looking.

Carthay Circle + Lamplight Lounge

Earlier that day, Chris and grandma headed back to the room to give Jackson a nap. So Brooklynn and I spent a girls day at Disney with some girlfriends. We went on the bigger rides (she LOVES Guardians of the Galaxy but hated the water rides; who knew), enjoyed lots of snacks, and mom enjoyed some adult beverages (look out for my “Drinking With the Mouse” post coming soon). I think she loved being able to choose what we did and it made her feel special.

That evening, we enjoyed some really good food and joined up with our family that night for the World of Color. Make sure to get a Fast Pass for that early in the day so you get a good section. We were in the spray zone which was so fun for the kiddos. They thought it was raining and it made for a super amazing experience.

  • Carthay Circle: We had the artichoke hummus and Brooklynn had a rootbeer and the Chocolate S’more Popsicle
  • Cookie Ice cream Sandwich + Mickey Head Ice Cream
  • Lamplight Lounge: Lobster Nachos
Earl of Sandwich

Earl of Sandwich

On Wednesday, we checked out of the hotel and headed back to DTD for some last minute shopping and lunch before we hit the road. My one thing I had to do before we left was hit up Earl of Sandwich. When I worked at Walt Disney World, it was my favorite and I’ve only ever gotten one thing there, which is the Tuna Melt. The kiddos got the mac and cheese as well and we got a sweet treat of cookies and brownies too. After that, we said our goodbyes to our family, got in the car and headed home.

We were all ready to leave at that point and a bit “Disney-d out”. It was so nice to sit for the 7 hour car ride home and rest. We stopped by McDonald’s on the way home and let the kiddos get their wiggles out before we finished our ride and tucked them into bed that night.

We had the most amazing food during this trip, but next trip I want to set aside a good amount of funds so I can try even MORE fun treats and meals. Something we didn’t end up getting to do was character dining, so that will definitely be on the list for the next trip. Which food looked tastiest to you? Have you had a chance to try the things I showed?

Xoxo,
