Cleaning With The Bissell Spinwave

Turning Hate into Love

I have come to realize that my number one most hated chore is cleaning our floors. So much so, that I end up ignoring them for weeks, usually months at a time. I honestly don’t even realize they need to be cleaned until my foot sticks to the ground (I am crushing the domestic goddess game). We have new flooring that needs to be cleaned a special way, and I am happy to announce that this product cleans our new vinyl flooring perfectly with no harm!

Recently, I borrowed my mom’s new Bissell SpinWave Cordless Hard Floor Spin Mop to try (we were originally going to try the Bissell Crosswave, but the steam wasn’t going to work with our new vinyl flooring), and let me tell you this… I am obsessed!! It literally makes me want to clean our floors every single day. Not only is it very easy to work with, but it’s also a pretty color! It comes with round pads that you attach and when you are done, you remove them and toss them in the wash. I then let them air dry and you are good to go for next time.

We are pulling away from toxic chemicals, so being able to use my Young Living Thieves Cleaner in there is so comforting. Along with the mop you get:

• 4 scrub pads (2 normal and 2 scrubbing)
• 2 antibacterial floor solution samples
• Storage tray
• Plug

One reason why I hate to clean our floors so much is that I have to get my bucket and mop out, fill up the bucket, and lug the mop around my house. With the Bissell Spinwave, it literally does all the work. You simply turn it on, spray the solution of your choice and go to town! The two spinning discs move and remind me of a Zamboni or a waxing product! It cleans up stains, dried-on messes and so much more. Makes those kiddos spills that happen randomly so easy to clean up. All I do is unplug it and have at it; Quick and easy.

Easy to Use with Mobility Issues

The reason my mother purchased this tool, is she has a hard time maneuvering and lifting heavy mops and such. This is a great product is you struggle with mobility issues, and is very easy to use. She says she could have even used it when she broke her foot and was in a cast! I also love that when you bump it up against your baseboards, it cleans those as well!! Not sure that was an intended purpose, but it works perfectly!

The only downside is it tends to have a mind of its own, but it doesn’t affect how the product works. Just make sure to have a tight grip on it! All in all, this is my most loved, #1 used product in our home. Well done, Bissell.

After all, is said and done, this deserves a 500 out of 10. It is so easy to use and makes cleaning your floors enjoyable and fun. My daughter even wants in on the action when I’m using it. Last night we had a sticky spill on the floor and it was so easy to just unplug and get to cleaning. I didn’t have to pull out a bucket and fill it and all that nonsense. I would buy this product again and again.
