Favorite Hair Care Products

Do you struggle with finding the best products for your hair? Feel like the ones you try leave your hair greasy and unmanageable? Today I am sharing my tried and true favorite hair care products that will leave your hair feeling fresh, clean, and oil-free!

I have struggled with my hair for years, always wanting to change it up, add or take away certain colors but have never been happy with the products I put in it. They would be too heavy, too greasy, or have not enough hold. I would end up having to wash my hair every couple of days when I’m used to going 5 or 6 days between washes (shocking, I know). Lately, I’ve been on the hunt for products that make my hair last, and by George, I think I’ve got it! I hope you enjoy my Favorite Hair Care Products!

Shampoo & Conditioner

First, I’ve gotta give it up to my shampoo and conditioner combo. It took me a long time to find one that nourished my hair without stripping it or adding too much moisture. My hair is naturally oily so that had to be a top priority. It also had to smell good and it had to have to right amount of lather. I have fallen head over heels for Nexxus Replenishing System with the comb through Finishing Mist. The shampoo and conditioner are, and will always be my favorite combo now, and I love how they smell.

Heat Protectant & Dry Shampoo

After that, I need a heat protector and dry shampoo (because, mom life). I absolutely love Batiste dry shampoo and always snag a can when I’m at Target. This product is one I swear by and the Kristin Ess Dry Conditioner for a heat protector. I love starting my day with dry shampoo and touching up my curls or messy bun if needed.

Curl Solution & Heat Tools

Currently, I am letting my hair air dry with my curl solution in it, but when I use heat, I am using my flat iron to curl and I never knew how much I’d love using it till now! It is so easy and gives me the exact shape I am looking for. And it tends to leave the curl in longer than a traditional curling iron. I don’t believe in investing in a super expensive straightener or any heat tools, so I love the ones I get at Target.
