Best Tote Bags For Moms

Having a good tote bag to easily toss everything you need in quickly, and go about your day is crucial to my everyday life. Being a mom comes with tons of wrappers, juice boxes, and more so knowing what the best tote bags for moms are is so helpful.

One of my favorite accessories is a beautiful handbag. Most days I love a smaller cross body that I can just grab and go. But every now and then, I like to break out a larger tote and hold everything that I will need for that day. I am a mom to two kiddos, so my bag usually gets filled up with diapers, fruit snacks, cups, more fruit snacks, and tons of receipts for cake pops and ice cream cones. In order to put some calm to that chaos, I have certain non-negotiable’s that always go into my purse. I hope you enjoy my Mom-Bag Must Haves.

The Bag Every Mom Needs

First, you have to have a bag you love. Depending on your style, you could have small, medium, or large. For me, this tote from Target has had my eye on it for a while. It’s large enough to hold all the things I need, and the wording on the front is perfect for this season of life I’m in. Here are a couple of other larger totes that would be perfect.

• Splice Canvas Tote– I love that it has pockets for your tablets and is sturdy enough to hold everything you’d need. Could be a perfect diaper bag too.
• Double Handle Woven Tote Handbag– This tote is on my wishlist and is the perfect everyday bag. I love the saying on it, and the color goes with everything. I WILL be picking this one up.
• O-Ring Handle Triple Entry Tote Handbag– I actually have this one in dark green, but it has so many pockets and is perfect to hold everything you need. You could even stick your laptop in it and make it a work bag!
• Soft Faux Leather Tote Shoulder Bag– I love that this looks like a purse, but holds so many things like a tote bag. Looks super soft as well.

Lips

Next, my go-to item is definitely a good lip color (my favorite at the moment is NYX Lingerie Liquid Lip). I have found quite a few shades that I’m loving and enjoy the little collection I am growing. It lasts all day and does not smudge once dry! I have a few other makeup necessities over in my Everyday Makeup post. Here are a few shades that I am loving.

Sunglasses

A good pair of sunglasses can make a world of difference! I had a prescription, but I don’t care for my prescribed sunnies, so my goal is always to find a pair I can slyly hide my glasses underneath (I’m a cool mom, obvi). I recently got the tortoise pair linked down below from Target and I might take them with me when I die. They compliment my face shape, and skin tone and are so darling. Sadly, they do not do the best job at hiding my glasses so they are more so when I’m in the pool or being driven by someone else. Here are a few options that are so cute, and affordable.

Diaper Necessities

With all those pretties in your bag, you’ve got to balance it out with some diapers, wipes, and lots and lots of cake pop receipts (it’s called balance, right?). Just make sure that you only keep in there the things you use on a daily basis. I like to reserve Fridays for purse clean-out days so I can clear the unnecessary clutter. It’s always nice to clean out and renew your ‘purse spirit’.
