One of my favorite coffee shops here in Tucson, AZ is Ren Coffeehouse. From the moment you walk in, order your items and get ready to leave, it is an experience. At first, you are hit with a wave of warm aromas the moment you walk in. The hustle and bustle of everyone coming and going add to the ambiance and you get swept up in a wave of sights and sounds that make you want to stay for hours.

Keeping with the local ordinance, you must wear a mask while inside and standing, but once you sit down you can remove it. One way in and one way out is there to keep everyone safe without overlap of guests.

Once inside, you come up to their large counter to place your order. The beautifully decorated menu hangs above you with a glass case to your left full of delicious pastries and such. Once your order is placed, they go right to work handcrafting your lattes and paninis. So many food choices at Ren Coffeehouse and each one better than the last.

Vanilla Latte

Our first choice was their delicious vanilla latte. It is so creamy and smooth and you can instantly taste how fresh and flavorful it is. They have quite a few flavor options for you as well. They are:

  • House-made Vanilla
  • *Caramel
  • *Hazelnut
  • Lavender
  • *Butterbeer
  • *Chocolate
  • White Chocolate Mocha
  • SF Vanilla
  • SF Caramel

*Organic

The artwork on top of the lattes, alone, is one of the best parts! My personal favorite is their Lavendar which is house-made. Besides amazing syrups to choose from, their espresso is sourced locally from Yellow Brick Coffee. I really love a coffee shop that uses as much local goodness as it can.

Besides lattes, they have a wide variety of caffeinated options available for you.

A few of my other favorite coffee options they have are:

  • French Press
  • Americano
  • Cappachino

Head in to Ren Coffeehouse to try them all!

Lavender Lemonade

This drink was so refreshing and the perfect drink for summer. Their lavender lemonade was so fresh and I loved the layers of purple and yellow. It is made with their house-made lavender syrup and organic lemon juice that isn’t too tart or too sweet. The perfect mixture of sweet and sour.

Their teas and specialty drinks are so delicious and would make any mouth water. A few other options they offer are:

  • Matcha
  • Kombucha
  • Golden Milk
  • Hot Chocolate

There are so many more, so make sure to visit the Ren Coffeehouse website to see the full menu.

Avocado Toast

Avocado toast is a major staple for breakfast choices. You get the creaminess from the avocado and the crunch from the arugula and toast.

The house-made herb cream cheese and arugula give it that delicious tang. And the tomato, avocado & olive oil make it taste and feel so hearty. I’m not one to order avocado toast normally, but when I read about the bread from , I knew it was going to be a winner.

Ren Coffeehouse sources their bread locally from August Rhodes. And when I tell you it is the freshest bread I’ve had, I am not lying.

Market Salad

When I order a salad, I want it to be crunchy and chewy. Their Market Salad is that and so much more. Served on a large bed of mixed greens with goat cheese, pecans, sunflower & pumpkin seeds give you the crunch. And the dried cherries & cranberries give you the deliciously sweet chew that salad should have.

The dressings they offer are fire cider, balsamic vinaigrette, and ranch. We got balsamic and it had just the right amount of tang to it.

Caprese Pannini

Last but not least is their Caprese Panini. And when I say this is THE BEST thing I’ve had there, I am not exaggerating. From the moment she brought it out the door to our table, I could smell it. The toast is nice and crunchy but still has a chewy consistency. Then you are hit with the warmth from the melted mozzarella cheese and the delicious pesto that is on there. Pesto anything is my favorite, so I was sold the instant I took a bite. Pair it with a bed of greens and you’ve got yourself a full meal.

I hope you enjoyed my trip to Ren Coffeehouse and the goodies I got while I was there. It is definitely a favorite around here and a place that you go when you just want a relaxing space to work, create or just enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.
