Looking for some super comfy outfit ideas? Have a t-shirt dress but no idea what to do with it? I am sharing my T-shirt Dress Styling with you, and I can’t wait to give you some new ideas for that piece of clothing you have. It’s a lot easier than you expect, and a lot of fun.
I am all for comfort. I love leggings, oversized shirts, and a comfy pair of slides. But I hadn’t even thought to try a t-shirt dress until a good friend of mine opened my eyes to it. From the moment I slipped it over my head, I knew we were soulmates. It fit perfectly, hit me at the exact length a dress should, and was the softest material I could have asked for. I’m going to need more (this is gonna be a problem… sorry honey). Enjoy my T-Shirt Dress Styling Session!
When I decided to style this particular piece, I knew it had to suit all types of styles: comfy, dressy, mom-y, and pretty. I chose 4 different ways to wear a t-shirt dress and I hope one fits your taste. Here we go…

Style #1: Jean Jacket
The first way I’ve chosen to style a classic T-shirt dress is with a good old jean jacket and converse. Nothing says comfort like a good pair of tennies with this outfit. You can run to the grocery store and chase your toddler around without feeling like you’ll be too uncomfortable. My jean jacket was a donation pile find when I worked at our church back in Sparks (thanks, Jesus!). I decided to take it home before it was to be dropped off at Goodwill, and I love it. My converse are from Kohl’s and I love that they are the slip-on kind so I don’t have to mess with tying. They are so comfy and can be worn with so many different outfits. They also come in 4 different colors because I do know how dirty the white ones can become.

Style #2: Kimono
This next style is one of my favorites. I recently found this one and I fell in love with this floral pattern. It is flowy and the perfect color pallet for spring. It can be paired with anything and adds instant flair to any outfit. I paired it with a cute pair of sandals and I’m ready to go on date night or simply head out for lunch with a girlfriend. Throw on some slides from Target, pair it with a super simple necklace, and you’re good to go for the day.

Style #3: Cardigan
Next, I have styled this outfit for a comfy, cool spring day. I have matched the same dress with my all-time favorite cardigan from Target. It was last year’s piece, so I’ll find a similar item and link it for you (I’m obsessed with this Amazon one that is very similar). I loved pairing this outfit with my brand-new Old Navy booties and I am good to go. This would be the perfect airport outfit as well as just cleaning around the house.

Style #4: Blazer
Last but not least, one of the prettiest combos I’ve put together in a while. I paired the dress with a blazer and a pair of heels. This would be perfect for a networking event, meetings for work, or getting together with your honey for date night. It transitions well from day to night, with a simple switch of the blazer to a pretty sweater, and so perfect for most types of weather. Shoot, I’d even wear this to karaoke! The heels pictured are one of my favorites from LC Lauren Conrad at Kohl’s and are a few years old so I found another pair that is even prettier!
